After studying art at the University of Georgia, Kristin promptly left conventional life behind to traipse around the country selling belly dancing jewelry at outdoor festivals. Six years later, in 2000, she began an intensive 3 year apprenticeship with a renowned copper sculptor. Her life since, has been almost exclusively devoted to creating her artwork.
Kristin's direction altered after her first open water scuba dive. During the dive, she was graced with visions of manta rays which fired her artistic Inspiration and headed her in a new career direction. She has been paying homage to the blissfully peaceful underwater experience with her metal fish projects ever since. Kristin still traipses around the country exhibiting her one of a kind pieces at several juried outdoor festivals & fine art shows. Her artwork is in private collections throughout the United States and parts of Europe.
